Adventures in Pre-Production

This week, my group and I went location scouting again, this time with all of us and a more clear idea of what we wanted. We checked out fewer places since our minds are pretty much made up about where we want to shoot.

We chose the building with the fancy façade from my last post for the singer’s house, as well as the lobby of that building for an indoors scene. We also went over the the Fine Arts Center to take a look at the black box and the actual theater. The black box has more availability, and if we use a spotlight throughout that scene you (hopefully) won’t be able to tell it isn’t a real stage.
