Dia duit

Hello, I’m a college student (English major, Film Studies minor) taking a digital storytelling class. I decided to take this course because I’ve been telling stories for as long as I can remember. I like to write fiction stories with supernatural elements, as well as stories set in the past (the 1700’s-1800’s are very interesting to write about). I have some experience with screenwriting and I hope to write another script soon, if I can find time. I tried to participate in National Novel Writing Month last year, and would have happily done so if I hadn’t completely forgotten about until the month was halfway over.
I’m an editor for my college’s annual literary journal, Hemetera, and I’ve had some of my writing published in there. I like linguistics, too; I’ve been trying to relearn Spanish to piece together what I’ve forgotten from high school, and I’ve been learning Irish for two years now. I’m not fluent in either.
I’m not very tech savvy, so this blog might not look tip-top yet, but all of the photos will be pictures of my sweet goldendoodle if that improves anything. I don’t have any experience with blogging, so this will certainly be interesting. My hobbies are drawing, spending time with my dog, and playing video games (especially Legend of Zelda). I hope to post some progress on the stories I’m going to write on this blog; judging by how my screenwriting course went, this will probably be a hands-on course. Get ready for some strange stories.
